Andrea Wortley
Andrea started dancing at a young age, and has competed at both local and national level for many years, deciding to take her professional exams almost 20 years ago, and now devotes her time to dance as a teacher, coach, examiner and adjudicator.
Having worked through all the Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship qualifications in Ballroom, Latin, Classical Sequence and Freestyle, she is now a proud teacher and Examiner with the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) and a member of the North East Area Committe.
Andrea’s passion for dancing is very much evident in all classes, and she strives to pass that same love on to every one of her clients.
Wendy Gawtry
The newest member of the team, although the one that has been dancing the longest.
As Andrea’s mum, Wendy introduced Andrea to dancing all those years ago, and has herself danced successfully at the IDTA Nationwide Finals on many an occasion.
Wendy, as well as sharing her extensive knowledge in Ballroom and Latin Classes, is qualified as a Rock and Roll teacher, and runs her workshops on a monthly basis.
